It contains two newspapers, two booklets, one risograph print, one photographic print and one screenprinted comic supplement from… Nick Ainsworth, Manchester, UK, Nick is the genius brains behind bands like FORMER BULLIES, DINNER PARTY and FEEL RIGHT, he is also, however an incredibly talented and witty writer. Miriam Avery, Manchester, UK. Miriam runs the very informative blog MAMMARY GLAND, a service for all your local DIY needs. She writes stories about the sad things in life in an informed and beautiful way. She is also a trainee nurse. David Bailey, Manchester, UK. Dave is a widely known legend, one for running GOOD GRIEF! the best self publishing based shop known, second for writing FLESH AND BONE twice a week, the funniest strip you’ll ever read, and third for being one of the best illustrators and poster artists around. Andrew Beswick, Manchester, UK. Andrew is a poet and artist, his “Anniversary” performances in 2010 celebrated Lisa Left Eye Lopez’ death, the opening of the Empire State Building and more. Matthias Connor, London, UK. Matthias has published dozens of his own zines under Poppy Books, he has also travelled to New York and Rome to do readings and performances, once did interviewed Roky Erickson for Vice magazine and continues to write every single day. Heather Rose Dominic, New York, USA. A director, writer, producer and long distance runner, Heather directed the documentary film SHIELD AROUND THE K: The Story of K Records which has been screened around the world as a celebration of K Records. Jess Higgins, Manchester, UK. Jess is a self-publishing artist, she is one half of MUSEUMS PRESS and one half of GENERAL INTEREST. Jess Hilliard USA, Jess Hilliard is a writer from America, his book “HELLO FRIEND” was published by his artist friend Harrell Fletcher and illustrated by Chris Johanson. Freek Lomme, Eindhoven, NL. Freek is a curator and writer from Eindhoven, he runs the gallery and imprint Onomatopee. Rachel McFarlane, Manchester, UK. Rachel is a photographer who has shot portraits of some of Manchester’s youngest, oldest, nicest and most famous people, her work is personal and beautiful and will have her very own monograph before we know it! R L Perry, Manchester, UK. Perry is one half of Comfortable on a Tightrope, the gig promoter, record label and zine publisher. He is also an excellent writer and very clever man. Owen Richards, London, UK. Owen is a photographer, best known for his work in music, working for Loud and Quiet, Plan B, Creative Review and The Guardian. He is also a self-publishing artist and all round nice guy. Brion Nuda Rosch, San Francisco, USA. Brion is an artist whose work has been exhibited pretty much everywhere, his self titled book was published by Little Paper Planes in 2010 and is one of the most beautiful things we’ve ever seen. Julia Scott, Glasgow, UK. Julia is currently studying at the Glasgow School of Art, her work is based performance based and she plays in the band GROPETOWN. Edwin Stevens, Manchester, UK. Edwin is a musical legend and is incredibly prolific, playing in bands IRMA VEP, KLAUS KINSKI, SEX HANDS, A MIDDLE SEX (r.i.p), THE ROYAL HOUSE OF CHOKE and others. Ethan Swan New York, USA. Ethan plays the band SILK FLOWERS. As well as a self-publishing his zines, VAMPIRE RULES and SOMEHOW THAT REALLY IMPRESSED ME he contributes to the incredible ANP Quarterly. Matthew Walkerdine Manchester, UK. Matthew is a self-publishing artist and designer whose work is perfectly simple and accessible. He has been making zines since for nearly ten years and being an all round good person for longer. He co-founded SALFORD ZINE LIBRARY in 2010, and is one half of MUSEUMS PRESS, GENERAL INTEREST and the band HORSES. Seb Wheeler London, UK. Seb runs the website TROPICAL WASTE, a home for all things DIY throughout the UK. He has also published zines, put out records, promoted gigs, done radio shows, organised small festivals, and written for a newspaper. as well as interviews with Simon Joyner and Tao Lin, and screenprinting skills from Lucy Jones.
